A simple look at the build toys that have actually earned their place in our home. Duplo, Lego, Connetix, Brio and a few others that shape most of our play and keep things calm rather than chaotic.

As the holidays approach, the house fills with excitement and toy catalogues. I love their joy, but I’m also thinking about what it means to give my kids the gift of enough, to help them love what they already have, not just what they open.
