A floor mat that does not stay under the table
Food, paint, water, and whatever else goes sideways during play. Studio Huske mats protect parquet, vinyl, laminate and tile from all of it. What separates them from an ordinary floor protection mat is that this one does not stay in one place. It folds flat and unrolls again outside.
Silicone leather, not faux leather
Many wipeable floor mats are PU, sold as vegan leather or faux leather. PU is a plastic coating on a fabric backing. It separates at fold lines over time, takes colour from tomato and berries, and it does not handle heat.
Studio Huske mats are made from silicone leather: a knitted polyester backing with a food-grade silicone coating on both sides. The surface is non-porous, so nothing soaks in. Silicone is heat resistant, and the silicone leather does not delaminate.

Which floors, and one thing worth knowing
Studio Huske mats sit on parquet, laminate, vinyl and tile.
Something people rarely mention: when an object sits in the same spot for a long time, the floor underneath changes more slowly than the floor beside it. Wood and lacquered surfaces react to light. Lift the mat after a few months and you may see a shadow. It happens under any rug and any plant pot, and it usually evens out again.
On sealed and lacquered floors it is worth lifting the mat now and then and shifting it slightly.
Studio Huske mats combine well with underfloor heating. At 0.7 mm the heat still comes through. Thick foam and puzzle mats insulate the floor instead.
What is tested
Studio Huske mats are certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100/1, the strictest tier, the one that applies to articles in direct contact with a baby's skin.
Studio Huske mats were independently tested for more than 30 PFAS compounds, and none were detected. Specific samples were tested, not every colour. What exactly was tested is set out on the test results page.
Cleaning
A damp cloth, and that is it. No vinegar, no alcohol, no acetone.
When a different mat is the better choice
If you only want to protect one patch of floor under a dining table, and the mat stays there, a PU mat will do that and cost less. Silicone leather earns its price when the mat gets handled, when a child eats or plays on it, when it folds up and travels, and when it still has to be there in five years.
