The Explore weighs 1.1 kg and the Gallivant 1.9 kg. Heavy enough to stay flat on grass. The grip underside helps too.
Is it safe for babies to lie on outdoors?
Yes. Certified non-toxic (OEKO-TEX Class 1). The surface is warm to the touch, not cold like plastic, which makes it comfortable for tummy time and nappy-free time outside.
How does it compare to a picnic blanket?
A picnic blanket absorbs moisture, needs washing, and takes hours to dry. Silicone leather is waterproof, wipes clean in seconds, and folds into a fraction of the space.
Can I leave it outside overnight?
It will not be damaged by rain or dew. But we would bring it in to avoid it blowing away or collecting debris.
Does it get slippery when wet?
The top surface can be slippery when very wet. The grip underside stays anchored. For active play in rain, a quick wipe with a dry cloth helps.
