Spielmatte statt Puzzlematte?

Puzzlematten haben ein Problem, das viele Eltern erst beim Benutzen entdecken: Flüssigkeit läuft in die Fugen zwischen den Teilen. Beim Putzen steckst du entweder ewig zwischen den Einzelteilen, oder du lässt es und weisst, dass es da drin nicht sauber ist.

A silicone leather play mat is a thin, flexible mat made from 100% silicone. Unlike foam or PVC mats, silicone is non-porous, contains no phthalates or formamide, and wipes clean in seconds. Are silicone play mats safe for babies?
Yes. Studio Huske silicone leather mats are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class I certified and Korea Eco Label verified. They contain no PVC, no phthalates, no BPA and no formamide. The non-porous surface does not harbour bacteria, mould or odours. They are safe for tummy time, baby-led weaning and food contact.
How do you clean a silicone play mat?
Wipe the mat with water and a little soap. For deeper cleaning, place it alone in a washing machine on a delicate cycle with cold water. Do not use bleach. For stubborn pigmented stains (like turmeric or tomato), place the mat in direct sunlight - UV light naturally fades the stain.
What sizes do Studio Huske mats come in?
Studio Huske offers five sizes: Wriggle (S) at 65 x 37 cm for changing and placemats, Roam Square (M) at 98 x 98 cm and Roam Round (M) at 105 cm diameter for high chairs and crafts, Explore (L) at 135 cm diameter for play areas, and Gallivant (XL) at 135 x 179 cm for indoor-outdoor use. How are silicone mats different from foam or vinyl play mats?
Foam mats (EVA) can contain formamide and are difficult to clean thoroughly. Vinyl (PVC) mats may contain phthalates and chlorine. Silicone leather is non-porous, chemical-free and wipes clean instantly. It is thinner (under 1mm), rolls for travel, resists fading and heat, and lasts five or more years without degrading.
