How silicone leather stays clean

Silicone leather is non-porous. Nothing soaks in. Unlike PU leather (which peels after 18 months), vinyl (which cracks and off-gasses), or fabric (which absorbs everything), silicone leather maintains its surface integrity for years. It is also certified non-toxic (OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class 1) and vinyl-free.

Frequently asked questions

What about turmeric and tomato sauce?
Silicone leather resists staining from food including tomato sauce, berries, and turmeric. Wipe promptly for best results. Stubborn marks lift with a paste of baking soda and water.

Can I put it in the dishwasher?
No. Wipe with a damp cloth or rinse under the tap. You can machine wash on the gentlest cycle if needed, but hand washing is best for longevity. The mats do not need a dishwasher because the surface does not absorb anything in the first place.

How long does silicone leather last?
With normal use, years. It does not crack, peel, or degrade like PU leather or vinyl. All mats come with a 2-year guarantee against manufacturing defects.
