How silicone leather stays clean

The surface is non-porous. Liquids, food, paint, and mud sit on top instead of soaking in. This is the difference between silicone leather and every other mat material. PU leather peels after 18 months. Vinyl cracks and off-gasses. Fabric absorbs everything and needs constant washing. Silicone does none of these things.

The material is certified non-toxic (OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class 1) and vinyl-free. Safe for babies to sit on, crawl across, and mouth.

Cleaning and care

Wipe with a damp cloth after use. For deeper cleaning, rinse under the tap with a drop of soap. For stubborn stains like beetroot, turmeric, or dried paint, a paste of baking soda and water lifts them. Do not use bleach. Do not put in the dishwasher. If needed, you can wash on the gentlest machine cycle, but hand cleaning is best for longevity.

What about turmeric and tomato sauce?
Silicone leather resists staining from food including tomato sauce, berries, and turmeric. Wipe promptly for best results.

How long does silicone leather last?
With normal use, years. It does not crack, peel, or degrade like PU leather or vinyl. All mats come with a 2-year guarantee against manufacturing defects.

Can I take it outdoors?
